Business energy options by state and territory

Your business energy options depend on your state, postcode, network, fuel and meter. We compare eligible published plans where available. Western Australia and the Northern Territory use different benchmark or quote paths.

New South Wales

We check available business electricity and gas plans against your site details. For electricity, confirm whether your bill shows Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy or Essential Energy. Plans and charges vary between network areas.

Victoria

We check eligible published business offers. Your electricity distributor may be AusNet, CitiPower, Jemena, Powercor or United Energy. The Victorian Default Offer is a reference option for eligible small businesses, not a guarantee of the lowest available price.

Queensland

Retail choice and available offers differ between south-east Queensland and regional areas. We only return plans we can match to your network. An Energex offer must not be assumed to apply to an Ergon site. Gas availability is checked separately.

South Australia

Eligible business electricity plans are matched to SA Power Networks and the postcode on your bill. Gas plans depend on the gas network and available published offers. Check usage, supply charges and tariff conditions together.

Tasmania

Electricity options depend on your site and the eligible published plans available to us. Do not assume a gas offer is available just because an electricity comparison is possible. We show an unavailable result when we cannot verify a comparable offer.

Australian Capital Territory

We check eligible business plans for your postcode and electricity or gas network. Confirm the distributor on the bill, especially for postcodes near the NSW border. Retailer eligibility and tariff details still need checking.

Western Australia

For eligible electricity sites, we provide an official business tariff benchmark rather than a competitive retail shortlist. Eligibility depends on the network, tariff and annual usage. In the South West Interconnected System, customers using less than 50 MWh per year cannot choose their electricity retailer.

For gas, confirm your regulated supply area before checking published standard-contract caps. Additional retailer charges are excluded from the benchmark. Bottled gas and unsupported LPG supply are not an automated plan comparison.

Northern Territory

For eligible electricity sites, we provide an official business tariff benchmark with network and usage conditions. Private, remote and unsupported supply arrangements need a separate review.

NT gas uses a site-specific quote request. We do not have a verified published tariff for an automated NT gas saving. Any quote depends on supplier availability and the full supply, delivery and rental costs.

Independent government comparison options

Energy Made Easy serves NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT. Victorian Energy Compare is the Victorian Government’s comparison service. Our commercial service is separate from both, and our data panel is not the whole market.
