What the service does

Upload a bill, review the extracted details and check eligible published plans from our data panel. Where comparable offers are available, you can see up to five plans and compare up to three side by side. WA and NT use separate benchmark or quote paths.

If you choose to ask about a plan, your enquiry records the retailer, selected plan and estimate for the team to review. A comparison or callback request does not sign you up to a retailer or authorise a switch.

How we are paid

The bill check is free. If you choose to switch through us, the retailer pays us a commission. You can view a comparison without requesting a callback. Our automated shortlist ranks available plans by estimated annual usage and supply cost.

What we can and cannot promise

We do not compare every plan in the market or guarantee savings. Published rates, meter eligibility, tariff conditions and contract terms need confirmation. If we cannot verify comparable data, we say so rather than invent a price.

Our explanatory pages are prepared by the Check Your Energy Bill team. They describe the service and link to government or regulator sources for market guidance. They are not personalised advice about accepting an energy contract.
